Caerphilly and Districts Schools Football Association facilitates is an elite level of football for boys and girls within the borough and neighbouring learning authorities.

It is not aligned to any FAW Academies.

Players are recommended by their schools are chosen, via trials, to join these teams. Players selected for our County teams at trials will have the opportunity to represent both their school and their county in Welsh Schools FA competitions against other counties in Wales. Our County teams also compete in the prestigious English Schools FA Inter County Competitions.

Opportunities arise for players playing in our teams to be recommended for the South Wales and the National Squads because games are watched by the national selectors. Additionally, games are frequently visited by ‘Premier League’ and ‘Championship’ scouts and several ‘old boys’ have signed for Premier League and Football League clubs.

We cover all age groups between U10 – U18, whereby we play other schools associations in an inter schools season.
